Words from the Principal

Did you know the Lankershim School was the first school in the Valley? Back in the 1880's our community was known as "Lankershim" (and sometimes "Toluca") and this area was predominantly fruit farms. In 1888 the town of Lankershim passed a bond to construct a schoolhouse to educate the children of the community, and Lankershim School was established in 1889. Our school has been rebuilt many times over the years, but our mission is the same: to serve the families and the children of our community, and provide an excellent educational experience.
